Frequently asked questions
Where is the PDF generated?
Entirely in your browser using jsPDF. The peptide selection, doses, vial parameters and any investigator notes you enter are never transmitted to the server — the download begins directly from your device.
Can I customise the PDF template?
The first release uses a single A4 template with site brand header, parameter table, investigator-notes block and disclaimer footer. Custom templates are scheduled for Phase 6 of the roadmap, alongside the protocol-templates hub.
Does the PDF include the disclaimer?
Yes — every page carries the "For laboratory / research use only — not for human consumption" strip at the foot of the page so the document remains compliant when archived alongside other laboratory records.
Can I include a stack of peptides in one PDF?
The current generator outputs one peptide per PDF. To document a multi-peptide stack, build it in the Stack Builder, then export each peptide separately and clip them into a multi-page laboratory file.
What size is the generated PDF?
Single-peptide protocols are typically 30–60 KB. Inline notes longer than one paragraph will spill onto a second page automatically.
